It's hard to say goodbye to such sweet kittens. The good news is that Mary found her family before closing time on the day she went to the shelter and by Tuesday they all had new homes. Peru and Chester are wishing them a fond farewell.

I commented earlier about wanting to adopt Arlo. I came to the shelter the next day, and she had already been adopted out--but the BACC adopted her out under the name Mary. My family decided to adopt the REAL Mary (though her kennel card said Arlo), so she has a forever home with us!

That explains the confusion, I'd heard that one kitten was adopted that afternoon and she sounded like Arlo yet I was told that Mary was adopted. I'm so glad that you adopted the REAl Mary, she's a doll and I'm happy to know she'll have a home with you.
