Adorable Adoptables
This Saturday Meg, Stewie and Peter will visit the Monroe County Public Library for a program where they could possibly meet their new family. More likely they will merely be admired and petted and serve as ambassadors for the other homeless kittens in the world. Either way they'll get lots of good attention. Stewie and Peter are now officially adoptable, Meg will be there as a tease since she's not quite big enough to be spayed.

Mini Meg

This is what 8 ounces of attitude looks like! She's tiny. She's adorable. Her mother is a very small cat but next to Meg she looks big. Mama Lois is a pretty orange girl who needs some fattening up.
Meg just needs to grow. I was very happy to watch the two of them chowing down on dry kitten food this morning, just what the Vet ordered!

Win some, lose some
I was so excited to pick up a mama cat with kittens. She's an orange tabby (most orange kitties are male) There were 5 kittens but not in good shape. Now there are three. Little Meg weighs 8 ounces and the big kittens, Stewie and Peter weigh 13.5 ounces. Mama Lois only weighs a little over 4 pounds. I'll post pictures when I can, right now I'm working on fattening them all up.

Great Expectations
I got a call about a pregnant cat but that didn't turn out, she disappeared in the man's house (probably to have her kittens) and I haven't heard from him since. I'm assuming all is well. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to pick up a mama cat with 4 kittens. Little one pound darlings. I can't wait! I've been without kittens since March 6th. I miss kitten fluff. I hope to have pictures to post soon.

Adoption News
I visited Reggie and Sharon and they were so happy to see me. I checked in on Blynken and she had a new friend, an orange tabby. They were so happy together and had formed such a strong bond that they were offered together as a two-for-one adoption fee. After being away I heard from one of my favorite adopters that she might be interested in Reggie. When I checked I learned that Sharon and Reggie had found their families. When I asked about Blynken I learned that she and her orange pal found their family too. I'm so happy that shy Blynken won someone's heart after a long time waiting in the shelter.
The new kittens have not yet arrived but they are out there somewhere and I'm ready for them!
